The African Executive Dialogue (AED) is the premier strategic discussion between senior African and U.S. officials on innovative and sustainable strategies to prevent and address regional security challenges across the African continent. Convened annually, the AED provides a forum for high-ranking security officials and professionals to critically evaluate regional approaches to security cooperation and provide insights into how best to create, implement, and monitor programs that are grounded in African reality, while effectively leveraging external support.
